While lots of people are looping for stomach flattening exercises the truth is that they actually do not exist. Sure, there are exercises that strengthen the abdominal muscles, but the only way to flatten your stomach is by losing fat all over your body. This has to be done with a combination of both diet and exercise.
When trying to get a flat stomach the first thing you should do is take a look at your fat intake. You should avoid saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, sugar and salt. A healthy diet is incredibly important if you want to be successful at weight loss. You should be eating lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, eggs, nuts and lean meats.
When you have a good diet plan in place you can start doing exercises. These will help you burn calories as well as build muscle. Remember that there are no exercises that will make you lose weight in the stomach area only. While some people may notice they start losing weight in that area first this is completely dependant on genetics. Basically any exercise that you enjoy doing is good for weight loss. This can be anything from riding a bicycle to dancing to weight lifting.
While lots of people will start doing sit ups to tone their stomach this is not really a good way to get the flat stomach they desire. These exercises do not burn a lot of calories at all which makes then not very usefull for weight loss.
In the end the only way to effectively flatten your stomach is with a combination of exercise and diet. Trying to find a stomach flattening exercise is pretty useless as there is no such thing.
